Overview: This project introduces a brand new eco-smart device designed to address the issues of physical album waste and the high carbon footprint associated with streaming in the K-Pop music industry. The device combines the functionality of an music player with features tailored to the needs of fans, offering a more ceremonial and interactive experience. It is compact, stylish, and portable, which caters to the preference of the main body of K-pop fans, Gen-Z, revolutionizing how fans engage with their favorite idols and the fandom.
Business: Through the analysis of industry stakeholders, this product maintains the existing interest chain, allowing entertainment companies and other stakeholders make profits as well as meet the demands of fans. This approach aims to enhance K-pop-fans’ interaction experience while promoting the continuous development, prosperity, and sustainable growth of the K-Pop industry.
Highlight: One of the highlights of this product is the compromise and balance between convenience, sustainability and ritual. Through research on users (fan groups), I believe that fans not only care about the convenience and accessibility when listening to music, but also value the sense of ritual and satisfaction brought by the experience of purchasing albums. At the same time, most fans have a certain sense of social responsibility and hope that their supports for idols can bring positive energy to themselves and the world.
